Delhi University (DU) is contemplating making its total admission course of on-line to minimise the scholars’ visits to the varsity in view of the scenario arising out of the coronavirus pandemic, in response to officers.

“In the current scenario, it has been recommended that it becomes more imperative to have the complete admission process online, which also includes the online verification of the certificates,” the letter mentioned.

Bagai additionally requested the universities to add essential info on their web sites and ship the hyperlink to the admission department. In the letter, she additionally directed the universities to represent a “strong” admission crew for the method.

“A team of reasonable number of student volunteers along with a faculty mentor be formed. The student volunteers must remain available during the time of admission to answer any related query pertaining to the admissions in the college,” the letter mentioned.
