Buenos Aires: Lionel Messi has donated half one million euros to assist hospitals in his native Argentina combat the Covid-19 pandemic.
Buenos Aires-based basis Casa Garrahan mentioned the funds – round $540,000 – could be used to purchase protecting tools for well being professionals, Xinhua reported.
“We are very grateful for this recognition of our workforce, allowing us to continue our commitment to Argentinian public health,” Casa Garrahan government director Silvia Kassab mentioned in a press release.
