Three truck drivers died on Friday after they fell sick in Odisha’s Dhenkanal district the place they have been stranded because of the COVID-19 triggered lockdown, police mentioned.
The three had fallen sick in entrance of a sugar manufacturing facility at Haripur on the outskirt of Dhenkanal city. They have been discovered unconscious by another truck drivers who organized to hurry the trio to the hospital, they mentioned.
While one in all them died on the spot, one other died at Dhenkanal district headquarters hospital, Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO), Dhenkanal, Sriharsa Mishra mentioned.
Another driver was shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack the place he handed away, he mentioned.
